Analytical skills, and how did I survive college?!

When creating the Space Shooter game, the challenge for me really is understanding MonoBehavior behind the scripting (am I saying that right?!)- the language I'm seeking to learn and write is still elusive. Never one to give up, I often change course. I restarted my entire game last week as a result of blockers, and after a weekend of eye rest, I am raring to go this week in order to finish up the 2D course.

My analytical skills are lacking and the lightspeed learning of the course has really opened my eyes to the brain aging process. At 34 years old I'm finding it hard to retain things- not surprising as I left college in 2013. Honestly haven’t picked up a book that didn’t involve a steamy 18th-century romance since graduation. Maybe a few do it yourself books here and there, gardening and whatnot. I sincerely believe I’ve forgotten the learning process. Too busy raising kids, taking care of the house, working to pay the bills- and no time to enrich my brain.

But there is no time to give up now, this course is taught well, structured well and honestly the pace is probably okay for most- but this mom has some work to do in order to really LEARN again.
