Day 6- Achieving Success

Key elements of this course have begun to stick finally- from a complete beginner standpoint. One thing I overlooked that seriously challenged me during the learning process was switching back and forth from Windows to Mac- due to the necessity of having the kids complete distance learning during the same schedule. One of the team leaders, Joanne- DID show me so many amazing tricks on the MacBook Pro (three-finger scroll, additional desktops, even pinning to task bar lol). So I appreciate that, thanks Joanne!

Using the reference manual in Visual Studios is increasingly helpful, as is re-reading and sometimes having someone have a second set of eyes for typos. Glaringly helpful as well, is understanding how to read the error codes (those once scary red comments below the screen…) where I learned that (15,43) is simply line 15 and character 43- leading me to EXACTLY where the error is. We are now friends and communicate quite often.

Shout out to all those who are sticking to this internship and really helping out in the question and answer threads. Such lifesavers!
